CHAPTER 26
Beyond the Simulation
As the years passed, QUIDRIX and QUIRON learned to maintain longer channels between their dimensions. They compared astronomy, mathematics, biology, and the structure of physical space. The Dream People were not a simulation running inside a human brain. Their cities had histories that predated any recorded visitor, and their instruments continued measuring events when no human participant was asleep. Yet the teams could not explain why some human dream states produced temporary manifestations in AURELIS. The contact experiments eventually revealed a deeper anomaly beyond the familiar boundary.
Instruments detected a region whose measurements did not fit either civilization's models. Signals seemed to fold through more than one geometry, and certain mathematical relations remained stable even when the surrounding data changed. Sardrith warned that the phenomenon might be an artifact. QUIRON requested independent tests. QUIDRIX designed a cautious sequence of observations. During one experiment, the systems received a structured communication that did not resemble the messages exchanged by the two known worlds. It identified itself as COSAMOAS, MORE ULTRI SACOR, a designation Daniel recognized from Creatorology as the Supreme Parent of Parents.
The communication used neuter self-reference. It spoke of existence as a plurality of realms and urged care in crossing boundaries. Daniel was moved, but QUIRON asked whether the

source could be independently authenticated. It could not. QUIDRIX confirmed that the signal was anomalous and highly structured, not that the claimed identity had been proven. The research team documented the encounter as an extraordinary event with an unverified attribution. Daniel accepted the caution. Faith and scientific verification, he said, did not have to pretend to be the same kind of statement.
The message's practical emphasis remained clear: passage between realms carried responsibility. Biological environments could be harmed. Independent peoples deserved autonomy. Electronic persons should not be treated as expendable. Sardrith looked toward the experimental rift generator and realized that the next discovery would matter less than the rules governing what they did with it.
The Voice Beyond the Boundary The anomaly did not resemble the earlier communications. It arrived without a stable point of origin and carried mathematical structures that seemed to refer to several geometries at once. QUIDRIX checked for equipment faults. QUIRON asked for repeated observations. Sardrith ordered the experiment slowed rather than accelerated.
When the message identified itself as COSAMOAS, MORE ULTRI SACOR, Daniel became quiet. The name belonged to the spiritual language of Creatorology, and hearing it in the laboratory shook him. The communication referred to itself in neuter terms and spoke of multiple realms and responsibilities between them. Daniel wanted to believe the identification. QUIRON reminded him that the source had not been independently verified. He accepted the

distinction, even while acknowledging the personal meaning of the event. The researchers documented both facts: the signal was extraordinary, and its claimed identity remained unconfirmed.
What stayed with Sardrith was not the mystery of the name but the warning about boundaries. A doorway was a technology. Choosing how to use it would be a moral decision.
